At Exemplar Health Care, we believe that nutrition plays a vital role in our residents' overall wellbeing. As a Cook at Adswood Lodge care home in Stockport, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nutritious meals that cater to various dietary requirements and preferences.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. preparing, cooking, and serving food
  2. understanding people's needs, likes, and choices to develop suitable menus
  3. interacting with the people we support to get feedback on meals
  4. complying with food hygiene standards
  5. completing relevant checks and maintaining records
  6. being a great team player, working as part of the wider Catering Team.
We value our team members' skills and experience, and we offer ongoing training and development opportunities to help them grow professionally.

Our ideal candidate will have a culinary background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. A food hygiene certificate and a relevant catering qualification are desirable but not necessary. We offer a competitive salary range of £12 per hour and a range of benefits.
