About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to join our team at Lampton Leisure. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our leisure centre, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: Ensure the smooth opening and closing of the leisure centre, including supervising the lifeguard team and coordinating wet side timetables.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Supervise and coordinate regular maintenance and cleaning of the facility, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
  • Pool Plant Operations: Responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly pool plant operations, tasks, and checks, ensuring the pool is safe and well-maintained.
  • Health and Safety: Deal with any H&S incidents, accidents, safeguarding concerns, and report on the management system, ensuring a safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide first-class customer service to all users of the facility, addressing any customer queries or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience of wet side operations within the leisure sector.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, influence, and motivate staff.
  • Experience of working within a Health & Safety critical environment with the ability to understand and implement legislation in the operational environment.
Qualifications

Ideal qualifications include:

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
  • First Aid at Work Qualification.
  • Pool Plant Operator Qualification.
