About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead our team in Runcorn, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for growing and developing the capabilities of our engineers, attending sites to gain an understanding of project scope and pricing, and developing external networks to ensure optimal reach to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow, mentor, and develop the capabilities of the engineering team
  • Attend sites to gain an understanding of the project scope and pricing to ensure comprehensive management of project deliverables
  • Develop external networks to ensure optimal reach to potential clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to establish and implement growth strategies
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Background in Civil/Structural engineering
  • Preferably experience in mentoring staff and developing competencies
  • Preferably someone with Chartership status to a relevant professional body (MICE, ISTructE), support can be offered to obtain this for the right candidate
