About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Railway Operations Manager to join our team at Arriva Rail London. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our trains.

As a qualified train driver with a minimum of 3 years' experience, you will have a proven track record of continually productive main line train driving experience and a good safety record. You will ideally have come from a passenger railway background and be able to work effectively under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have flexibility regarding work and shift patterns, including days, nights, and weekends. They will also be required to live within 1 hour of the New Cross Gate depot via public transport.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of trains
  • Managing a team of train drivers
  • Coordinating schedules and rosters

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including free travel on TfL services, discounts on European rail services, and a 75% discount on season tickets on other Train Operating Companies.
