Key Responsibilities


As a Sanctions Manager at Gallagher Re, you will be instrumental in delivering sanctions and trade compliance across the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Monitoring sanctions laws and developments to ensure compliance
  • Leading projects to design and implement sanctions controls
  • Advising on sanctions laws and policies to ensure adherence to applicable regulations
  • Collaborating with senior business members, executive stakeholders, clients, and third parties to ensure effective sanctions compliance
  • Supporting the Re Global Financial Crime Director on Anti Money Laundering (AML), high-risk relationships, and other financial crime risks

About You


We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in sanctions, AML, or trade controls in the insurance industry. You will have the ability to balance commercial requirements against legal and regulatory requirements, as well as knowledge of bribery and corruption, fraud, market abuse, and counter terrorist financing. You will be a decisive, fair, reasonable, practical, and action-oriented individual with a strong sense of common sense.

How You'll Make an Impact
