About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to join our team at the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC). As a key member of our Communities and Young People Team, you will play a critical role in supporting our efforts to reduce violence in London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage strong working relationships with young people, communities, and stakeholders across London.
  • Manage a team to deliver commissioning, budgets, and programme management within a violence reduction environment.
  • Build strategic stakeholder relationships and work with young people to develop and implement violence reduction strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to co-ordinate efforts and bring about change.
Requirements
  • Significant experience of supporting young people affected by violence reduction in London, ideally within a youth sector setting.
  • Hands-on experience of commissioning cycles, budgets, and programme management within a violence reduction environment.
  • Strategic stakeholder engagement and experience of building collaborative ways of working through developing high-profile relationships.
  • Strong communication skills through working with public sector stakeholders and communities.
  • Experience of implementing violence reduction and prevention strategies.
