Job Description:

As our IT Programme Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening our team by leading the planning, structuring, and direction of a divisional programme of work. This is a home-based role in Northern Ireland, with a fixed-term contract until the end of March 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities to manage and implement interrelated projects from initiation to final operational stage.
  • Determine, monitor, and review programme economics, including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, programme resources, and programme risk.
  • Ensure the programme is managed to realise business benefits and that programme management is informed by an awareness of current technical developments.
Requirements:
  • Strong programme management experience.
  • Proven project management and leadership skills, with a good knowledge of business analysis.
  • Principles, methods, techniques, and tools for budget preparation and monitoring to minimise costs and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Experience of delivering infrastructure and cloud projects.
  • Broadly skilled in information technology, with a good understanding of desktop, hardware, printers, LAN, and WAN.
  • Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes.
  • Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the programme.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and programme and project management methods, including MSP, PRINCE2, and Agile.
