About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Economist to join our team in London. As a key member of our Strategic Portfolio Management team, you will play a critical role in tracking macroeconomic trends and advising senior leaders on their implications for our renewable energy portfolio design and investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze macroeconomic data from internal and external sources to inform our investment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including colleagues in Finance, Risk, and Trading, to ensure seamless communication of key insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to distill and disseminate key macroeconomic trends and their implications for our organization.
  • Prepare and present macroeconomic forecasts and scenario evaluations to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving macroeconomic trends, policies, and regulatory changes to ensure our organization remains competitive in the renewable energy market.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in business, economics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline.
  • Proven experience working with European macro data, energy demand analytics, macro scenario evaluation, or infrastructure and industry economics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work well with teams across cultures and geographies.
  • Ability to translate macro data into actionable insights that inform our investment decisions.
