Volunteer Retail Staff Member

We are currently recruiting for a retail volunteer to work at our charity shop in Teddington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining stock levels, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Your Key Tasks:- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers at the till and answering their queries
- Contribute to the visual merchandising of our store by placing books on shelves in an attractive and well-maintained manner
- Engage with customers, build relationships, and promote our products effectively
What You Need to Succeed:
- A natural ability to connect with people and provide excellent customer service
- A keen interest in books and a willingness to learn about our products
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A flexible approach to your schedule to accommodate changing demands
Salary and Working Hours:
We estimate the salary for this role to be £8-£10 per hour based on the location and job requirements. The shop operates from 10:00 to 18:00, and we are looking for someone who can volunteer for a few hours each Tuesday or Friday morning.
