About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager Lead Engineer to lead our new project initiatives from initial client engagement to successful project completion. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with design teams to deliver multi-discipline projects;
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources;
  • Developing effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members;
  • Coordinating staffing plans and workloads to meet project goals;
  • Ensuring project quality, scope, and schedule are met;
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams;
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities;
  • Preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and executing projects;
  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Good experience as a Project Manager with Mechanical or Electrical background;
  • Experience managing engineering projects within various sectors (water, aviation, airports/terminals, utilities, etc.);
  • The ability to collaborate with design teams and coordinate project activities;
  • Excellent communication and people skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery;
  • A bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related experience; APM, PRINCE II, or similar project management qualification would be advantageous;
  • Ability to travel to client and project sites across multiple UK locations.
