Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer

Job Summary:
Carrington West is seeking a highly skilled Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our Civils and Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in delivering flood alleviation schemes and surface water separation projects from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of flood risk assessments and flood alleviation schemes.
- Develop and implement surface water management strategies, including SUDS, swales, and soakaway design.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
- Provide expert advice on flood risk management and water quality issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of business growth strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in flood risk management and surface water separation projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of Civil 3D, Micro drainage, and InfoDrainage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
- Full UK driving license.
