Job Overview
The University of Liverpool - The Academy is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate/Research Assistant to join our team. We are looking for an individual with expertise in experimental mechanics and a strong background in techniques such as digital image correlation.

As part of our research team, you will be working on the measurement of displacement and strain fields in ceramic composite plates subject to thermoacoustic excitation. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in a dynamic environment and contribute to cutting-edge research projects.

About You
To be successful in this role, you should have a PhD (for Grade 7) or a Masters degree (for Grade 6) in an appropriate field of engineering science or physical sciences. Your experience in experimental mechanics and demonstrable competence in digital image correlation techniques will enable you to hit the ground running.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around £43,000 - £53,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
