We are seeking a postdoctoral research associate to work on the synthesis of new inorganic solid electrolyte materials. You will work on materials inspired by our recent publication on new routes to superionic lithium transport, using the full range of modern digital tools to accelerate their experimental discovery work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on the discovery of new inorganic materials and their structure determination.
  • Contribute to the project goal within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop new materials and experimental techniques.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science.
  • Experience in materials synthesis and characterization.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

This is a fixed-term post available for 3 years. If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded, you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
