Job Summary
We are seeking a Cardiac Physiologist to join our echo team in Westbury on a full-time permanent basis.
As a Cardiac Physiologist with InHealth Group, you will be proficient with BSE reporting guidelines and provide a safe and welcoming clinical environment for patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines.
- Evaluate equipment quality assurance checks and take appropriate action.
- Submit reports and archive study images according to contractual requirements and local SOPs.
- Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals.
- Support patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained.
Requirements
- Experience of performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
- Hold British Society of Echocardiography accreditation or be currently collating log-book cases for BSE practical.
- A full UK driving license.
- Familiarity with the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance, and Caldicott Principles.
- A willingness to embrace new thinking and technologies.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
Salary Estimate
The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
