About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at InHealth, specializing in adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms. The successful candidate will be proficient in BSE reporting guidelines and provide a safe, welcoming clinical environment for patients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines.
  • Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action.
  • Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs.
  • Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals.
  • Support with patient bookings and maintain patient information systems.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
  • Hold British Society of Echocardiography accreditation (or equivalent), or be currently collating log-book cases for your BSE practical.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • A full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance, and Caldicott Principles.
  • A willingness to embrace new thinking and new technologies.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
