Sales Support Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Administrator to join our team at Cole & Yates Recruitment Ltd. As a Sales Support Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Senior Sales Manager in coordinating appointments, maintaining the CRM database, and analyzing sales data for reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate appointments and diary for the Senior Sales Manager
  • Maintain the CRM database, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Analyze sales data for reporting purposes
  • Coordinate and progress the sales pipeline with internal and client teams
  • Record and follow up on all incoming enquiries and generated leads to promote the company and arrange meetings with the Senior Sales Manager
  • Follow up on outstanding quotes and estimating requests
  • Work with the design and estimating teams to ensure all requested quotes and designs are scheduled and on track for agreed completion dates
  • Perform general administrative tasks
Requirements:
  • Experience in customer sales and service in a client-focused business
  • Strong relationship-building skills with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to produce accurate records and understand and produce a range of reports
  • Good understanding of Microsoft, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience working with a CRM database
  • Enjoy speaking to existing and prospective customers, happy to chase for updates, answer enquiries, and be proactive in developing business for the company
  • Organized, adaptable, and focused with the ability to work independently
  • Driving license and own transport, as our offices are not on a train or bus route
About the Role:
  • Managing Client Communications: logging all new and existing enquiries, ensuring information is distributed internally, and communicating progress both internally and externally
  • Business Systems and Administration: maintaining the CRM database, ensuring all data is accurate and complete, and chasing for correct detail from internal and external stakeholders
  • Team Coordination: recognizing the need for and coordinating the inclusion of colleagues from within the business to support sales opportunities, working closely with sales, marketing, design, and estimating teams to ensure high-level customer service

This is a permanent job opportunity working a five-day, 37.5-hour week at our client's offices, including a holiday entitlement of 21 days plus all bank holidays, enrolment into the company pension and employee benefits scheme, a salary of £24,000, and the genuine opportunity within 12 to 18 months to progress into an externally based sales role.
