**KS2 Teaching Support Position:**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Learning Mentor to join our team in Trafford, supporting pupils in a KS2 setting. This long-term contract will provide a stable and rewarding career path for the right candidate.

About the Role:

This role requires a strong understanding of child development and learning, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of pupils. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and carers to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons, using your expertise to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Individualised Support: Provide one-to-one support to pupils, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Parent Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and any areas of concern.
  • Assessment and Progression: Monitor pupil progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and provide targeted support to help pupils close the gap.
  • Behaviour Management: Use your expertise to promote positive behaviour and attitudes among pupils, creating a safe and respectful learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a KS2 setting.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
  • The right to work in the UK.
