Job Title: Learning and Development Mentor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Mentor to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd.

As a Learning and Development Mentor, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to students who require additional assistance in achieving their academic goals.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young people, particularly those with additional support needs.

You will work collaboratively with the pastoral team to maintain accurate attendance records, prepare resources for coaching and learning support, and track student progress.

This is a maternity cover role with the potential to continue after this period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and address absences promptly.
  • Prepare and develop resources for coaching and learning support.
  • Keep detailed records to support student progress.
  • Track student progress using behaviour data.
  • Use diverse strategies to boost academic growth, confidence, and self-esteem.
  • Enforce child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection policies.
  • Tackle unexpected challenges efficiently, seeking help when needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of working with young people.
  • Ability to work with students with additional support needs.
  • The ability to collaborate within a team to work towards positive student outcomes.
Salary:

£95-£105 per day.
