Trainee Nuclear Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Trainee Nuclear Engineer to join our team at National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL). As a Trainee Nuclear Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in nuclear engineering, with a focus on criticality safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the technical delivery of projects in the criticality area.
- Develop a customer and stakeholder network within project areas.
- Contribute to R&D projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., nuclear engineering, physics, or chemistry).
- Relevant experience in criticality safety, safety cases, or related technical disciplines.
- Ability to obtain SC level security clearance.
The location of this role is flexible, with options to be based at Sellafield, Workington, or Preston. We offer a competitive salary package, training and development opportunities, and a chance to work on exciting projects.
Estimated salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
