Technical Engineering Advisor

As a Technical Engineering Advisor at the National Nuclear Laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our nuclear infrastructure. Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of engineering support services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the E&I Team Leader in installation, modifications, and commissioning of installed equipment.
- You will identify and assist in delivering plant and process improvements, and present at committee meetings as required.
- Additionally, you will attend forums to stay up-to-date with best practices and share learning within your facility.
- You will also be responsible for developing pragmatic fit-for-purpose engineering solutions that meet the objectives of the organization in a cost-effective manner.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- The ability to obtain DV level security clearance.
- Good general safety case awareness and knowledge of nuclear safety mechanisms, safety-related equipment, and safety features.
