Engineering Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Technical Lead to join our team as an Engineering Manager. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for leading our in-house maintenance team and managing the Engineering Department, ensuring all building services and equipment are compliant with statutory legislation and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits as required and participate in review of standards and performance.
  • Ensure close working relationships with all other leads within the Division and clinical locations.
  • Develop and prepare various management reports on Engineering services.
  • Liaise with Safety Inspectors and Risk Managers.
  • Facilitate and cascade information to the team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Charter Status or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience of having managed teams, operational budgets and contracts.
  • Expert technical understanding of the range of highly specialist services.
  • Experience of successful negotiation and contract management.
  • Proven ability and experience of compliance and performance monitoring.

Benefits:

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £53,755 - £60,504 Per Annum, Pro Rata, plus excellent benefits including an excellent pension scheme and 27-day holiday entitlement. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the success of our organization.
