Civil and Structural Technical Director

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer to lead our engineering team in Preston. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in running and leading projects, with a broad knowledge of steel and concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Director will be responsible for ensuring efficient delivery of civil and structural design projects, carrying out checking and approval of deliverables, and supporting the Technical leads in the Preston office. They will also attend and present at design review meetings.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineering qualification, with a minimum of 10 years of experience. They should have a broad knowledge of steel and concrete structures, including water retaining structures to British Standards and Eurocodes. Nuclear experience, including decommissioning works, is desirable.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
