Job Title: Childcare Support Manager

We are seeking an experienced Childcare Support Manager to join our team. As a Childcare Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and creating positive relationships with the young people in our care. You will use your leadership skills to supervise staff, lead shifts, and ensure that placement plans, policies, and risk assessments are followed.

About the Role

You will support the children in their education and daily activities, helping them to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. This will involve working closely with other members of the team to provide a consistent and supportive approach to childcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality care and create positive relationships with children.
  2. Use leadership skills to supervise staff and lead shifts.
  3. Ensure placement plans, policies, and risk assessments are followed.
  4. Support children in their education and daily activities.

Requirements:

  1. NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce (or equivalent).
  2. At least 2 years of experience in residential childcare and working with young people.
  3. A valid driving licence.
  4. A commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £31,305.20 per annum, inclusive of sleep-ins. You will also receive a range of benefits, including competitive pay, flexible working patterns, and performance bonuses.
