Job Summary

The Registered General Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and coordinating clinical pathways. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments using problem-focused and age-specific techniques
  • Critical care assessment of patients and families' physical and psychological needs
  • Involving patients, significant others, and healthcare providers in the plan of care as appropriate
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to provide patient care
  • Coordinating and planning critical care/clinical pathways and prioritizing care based on individual needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized nursing qualification (e.g., RN or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when maintaining records
Benefits
