An exciting opportunity awaits you to join our Marketing team in a leading confectionery company, as the Marketing Manager for the Premium Chocolate Category. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving targets related to Profit and Loss, market share, and competitive positioning within the assigned category. You will support the Regional Category Director in defining the positioning and detailed strategies for the category. Your duties will include developing and implementing ideas, projects, and necessary actions, while monitoring and managing costs such as advertising, promotions, and research expenses to ensure they stay within budget.
Main Responsibilities:As the Marketing Manager for Premium Chocolate, you will assist the Marketing Manager in defining brand targets, sales mix, net sales, gross margin, and marketing contributions for the category. You'll help set volumes and sales value budgets, manage advertising, promotions, research, and market analysis costs within budget, and support the preparation of the annual strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate on managing the brand portfolio, developing strategies for success, and defining competitive positioning.
- Create marketing strategies, evaluate pricing, recommend SKUs, and develop new product strategies.
- Execute advertising strategies, manage creative agencies, communicate media plans, and ensure legal compliance for commercials.
- Propose promotion strategies, supervise material development, align with Sales and Trade Marketing units, and set up contracts with the Legal Department.
- Analyze SPE test results, calculate KPIs, and participate in strategic studies.
- Drive the sales forecast process, monitor P&L items, and analyze market data to suggest action plans.
- Lead strategic business partnerships, maintain the company's image, recommend key business strategies, and manage internal communications.
- Deliver profit growth targets, develop the brand portfolio, and manage your team to ensure alignment with group values and professional development.
Ferrero is seeking seasoned marketing managers with a solid background in FMCG. You will need to demonstrate the ability to contribute effectively to business strategy and drive the business agenda forward. Other requirements include:
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, along with experience in team management and the ability to strategically articulate the brand through agency management.
- Proficiency in strategic brand and innovation development, as well as experience in strategic brand planning & portfolio management.
- Budgeting and decision-making skills, requiring strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- A solid understanding of trade dynamics and the capability to drive shopper strategy in coordination with the Trade Marketing Head.
- Commercial skills to drive brand growth.
