Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Hd6. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to children aged 5-11 in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with their academic needs, focusing on core subjects like reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement daily routines and behaviour support plans for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Work closely with the teaching team to develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in education or a related field, such as Team Teach Training or a Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure check and ensure eligibility to work in the UK.
Salary and Benefits
  • A competitive salary of £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
