Job Description

The Learning Environment Coordinator will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated individual to work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals to provide high-quality support and guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement inclusive lesson plans and activities that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and deliver targeted interventions to support students with SEND.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and develop strategies to overcome challenges.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of SEND principles and practices.
  • Experience working with students who exhibit challenging behaviours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A willingness to continuously develop your knowledge and skills in SEND practices.
