Secondary School Inclusion Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of HLTA Inclusion Lead at our dynamic and supportive secondary school.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing inclusive practices, ensuring students with additional needs receive the support they need to succeed.

  • Provide targeted support to students with diverse needs, adapting resources and interventions to enhance their learning experience.
  • Develop and lead on individual and group interventions to promote inclusive practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to create and implement individual learning plans.
  • Support and mentor teaching assistants in delivering high-quality support.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Champion an inclusive school culture, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.
Essential Qualifications:
  • HLTA qualification (or equivalent) with experience in supporting students with additional needs.
  • Strong understanding of inclusion practices within a secondary school environment.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and work collaboratively with staff to achieve common goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills, patience, and empathy.
  • A proactive approach, always looking for ways to improve and innovate.
