**Job Title:** Independent Living Companion
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to provide daily support to an individual with a spinal cord injury, enabling them to live independently.
**About the Role**The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily life activities, including personal care, household tasks, and engaging in various hobbies such as wheelchair sports, cycling, swimming, and artistic pursuits.
They will also assist with social events, evenings out, and trips, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and good practices at all times.
**Key Responsibilities**To excel in this role, you must be energetic, proactive, and genuinely interested in delivering exceptional care.
Some experience in caregiving is beneficial, but not essential. The ability to learn quickly and work independently is crucial.
Good physical health is necessary to perform safe manual handling, pushing, bending, and lifting tasks effectively.
The hourly rate for this position is £11.74, and flexible evening shifts are available from 18:00pm to 10:00am the next day (16 hours @ £11.74 = £187.84).
