Working Hours: 42 hours a week, negotiable

At Lookers VW Newcastle, we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Receptionist / Showroom Host. As the face of our dealership, you will be our customers' first point of contact and play a vital role in delivering a world-class experience.

You will be reporting to the accomplished Aftersales Manager, who will provide you with extensive knowledge and support. Additionally, you can look forward to on-going training opportunities that will help you develop the right skills and career path within the Automotive industry.

Our reception team are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, and we are looking for someone who shares this passion. As a Receptionist / Showroom Host, you will be responsible for ensuring the dealership is kept tidy and presentable at all times, while also making sure customers are taken care of.

Responsibilities

  1. Providing exceptional customer service and being the first point of contact for our customers
  2. Ensuring the dealership is kept tidy and presentable at all times
  3. Contributing to a happy and positive working environment
  4. Assisting with general administrative duties in the dealership with accuracy and attention to detail
  5. Customer-facing role with requirements to work over the phone and via email
  6. Maintaining the highest levels of professionalism at all times

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has pride in high standards and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate a successful blend of confidence and assertiveness when dealing with people, and have an approachable and professional manner.

You will also have experience working in a similar role, with the ability to deal with a variety of responsibilities and strong organisation skills and an eye for detail.
