Customer Service Representative

At Newcastle Building Society, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer service and connecting our communities to a better financial future. As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in achieving this goal.
Our Customer Service Centre is dedicated to providing a personalised experience for our customers, handling a range of queries regarding their Savings accounts. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer care, handling unscripted calls, and completing administrative tasks.
We're passionate about putting our customers first and getting things right for them first time. Our ethos is built on excellence, and we believe that this allows each customer to be treated in a way that fits their needs, not ours.
As a hybrid role, you'll work from our head office at Cobalt Business Park and have the flexibility to work from home. We'll provide you with full training through our Customer Excellence Academy, which will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.
About You
We're looking for an upbeat and confident communicator who can provide excellent customer service. You'll have the ability to navigate and use multiple systems and programmes, and be passionate about delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Our operating hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-7pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. You'll work one in four weekends, and a typical shift pattern will be Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm, and three weekdays 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm.
