Job Title: Teaching Assistant for Primary School

Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support with learning needs on a 1:1 basis for a Primary School in Birmingham. The school is an OFSTED rated Good mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. They are looking for enthusiastic and nurturing support staff who can develop good relationships with children with additional needs.

You will be supporting a year 4 pupil who is currently working at year 1 level. This is a full-time role to start ASAP and will continue for the rest of the academic year.

Contract Details:
Position - 1:1 learning support
Type of work - Teaching Assistant - 1:1
Start date - ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration - Long term opportunity for the rest of the academic year
Contract type - Temporary
Full time/part time - Full time

Requirements:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications
Previous experience working in a UK school - in either permanent or long-term roles
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

To be Eligible:
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
