A leading research and manufacturing company is seeking a skilled senior laboratory support technician to join their team based in Biocity, Coatbridge.

The company has undergone significant growth over the past two years and has expanded into new laboratories to house their synthetic chemistry team.

The Job Description

As a senior lab support technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the laboratory environment.

This includes:

  • Lab equipment servicing and maintenance
  • Management of chemical stock and stores
  • Assistance with purchasing and procurement
  • Receipt and management of goods

You will work closely with the lead chemist and laboratory manager to ensure all aspects of laboratory operations are well managed.

Educated to HNC level or above in chemistry, or a related field, and prior experience in a chemicals laboratory are essential requirements for this role.

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 per annum
