About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Commissioning Editor to join our team at The Quarto Group. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for conceiving and creating innovative novelty, gift, and non-fiction books and box kits that explore high-interest STEAM and trending topics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing projects at every stage, from initial concept through sales material to print-ready files.
  • Working alongside design colleagues to create innovative, exciting, commercial formats and concepts.
  • Liaising with production and design to deliver quality novelty and book-plus titles.
  • Identifying global market trends in children's publishing and the wider children's entertainment space.
  • Being the publishing lead for assigned customers and publishing strands.
