We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Editor to join our team at Inspired Selection. As a Commissioning Editor, you will play a key role in acquiring and developing books for our business market, including professional, MBA, and Executive Education audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission and develop books for our business market
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and authors
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage author relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the business publishing market

Requirements:

  • Strong editorial experience in the business publishing market
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Good digital skills, including Biblio, eBooks, and XML workflow systems
