Claims Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Business Analyst to join our team at Hiscox. As a Claims Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving and shaping business processes and best practices as part of our claims optimization program.
Key Responsibilities- Define and document claims requirements across multiple projects and initiatives
- Review and assess data flows, data capture, and data information across claims departments
- Develop strong working relationships across the claims function and work closely with key stakeholders to understand current ways of working
- Develop and document 'as is' and 'to be' processes and assist in steering the business through changes
- Articulate complexity in simple terms to facilitate quick understanding and decision-making from key stakeholders
- Produce high-quality deliverables such as requirements specifications, process maps, and stakeholder presentations
- Support the successful delivery of claims optimization projects and initiatives
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in claims process improvement
- Strong understanding of business processes and organizational structures
- Experience of process design, process improvement, workflow, and process map development
- Experience and understanding of claim life cycle processes and claims data capture would be beneficial
- Experience of using analytical techniques to interpret data and produce meaningful management information, including trend analysis
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Formal Business Analysis qualifications would be beneficial
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality, service, and defining best practice
