About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Business Analyst to join our team at Hiscox. As a Claims Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving and shaping business processes and best practices as part of our claims optimization program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and document claims requirements across multiple projects and initiatives
  • Review and assess data flows, data capture, and data information across claims departments
  • Develop strong working relationships across the claims function and work closely with key stakeholders to understand current ways of working
  • Develop and document 'as is' and 'to be' processes and assist in steering the business through changes
  • Articulate complexity in simple terms to facilitate quick understanding and decision-making from key stakeholders
  • Produce high-quality deliverables such as requirements specifications, process maps, and stakeholder presentations
  • Support the successful delivery of claims optimization projects and initiatives
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in claims process improvement
  • Strong understanding of business processes and organizational structures
  • Experience of process design, process improvement, workflow, and process map development
  • Experience and understanding of claim life cycle processes and claims data capture would be beneficial
  • Experience of using analytical techniques to interpret data and produce meaningful management information, including trend analysis
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Formal Business Analysis qualifications would be beneficial
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality, service, and defining best practice
