About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and empathetic Family Support Worker to join our team at the NHS. As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing emotional and practical support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Main Duties:
  • To provide one-to-one care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
  • To develop and maintain supportive relationships with children, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
Requirements:
  • A relevant professional qualification in children's healthcare or social care.
  • Experience working with children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and be able to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and understanding when interacting with children and families.

  • An estimated salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum.
