Clinical Lead in End of Life Care

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Consultant in Palliative Care at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with palliative needs. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in palliative medicine and experience in teaching and education.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Providing clinical leadership and expertise in palliative care
- Managing complex symptoms and providing psychological support to patients
- Coordinating end-of-life care and discharge planning
- Contributing to the development of our clinical governance structures, including quality improvement projects and audits
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Fully registered with the GMC
- CCT in Palliative Medicine and entry on the GMC Specialist Register
- Experience in audit projects, written up and presented
- Proven teaching ability and willingness to teach others
The salary for this position is estimated to be £83,672-£110,683 per annum, depending on experience.
