Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Appoint Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the care home operations to meet or exceed goals while ensuring high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee care staff and manage the care home in the Manager's absence.
  • Train and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Assist with resident pre-admission assessments and maintain care plans and records.
  • Facilitate communication with families and other organisations to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent services of care.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing team.
  • Ability to promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.
