Deputy Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team at a beautiful care home in Eye. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will play a key role in managing operations within the home, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in managing operations within the care home, including overseeing care staff and assuming full management in the absence of the Home Manager.
- Train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work, promoting a culture of excellence and high-quality care.
- Conduct pre-admission assessments of residents, ensuring that each resident's care plan and daily records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Foster effective communication with residents' families and other organizations, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
- Previous Deputy Home Manager experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and managing care staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with residents, families, and external care professionals.
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and promote a culture of excellence.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing team.
