Deputy Care Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team at a beautiful care home in Eye. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting the Home Manager in managing operations within the home, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Home Manager in overseeing the care staff and assume full management in their absence.
- Train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work, setting a good example and promoting a positive work environment.
- Conduct pre-admission assessments of residents, ensure that each resident's care plan and daily records are up to date, and foster effective communication with residents' families and other organizations.
- Develop and implement care programs that promote ownership and involvement of service users and their families.
- Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
- Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent services of care.
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing team.
