About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Nurse Manager to join our team at a Barchester care home. As a Unit Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the delivery of nursing care that meets the needs of our residents. You will implement person-centred care plans that make a real difference to their day-to-day lives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage rotas to ensure effective staffing levels
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care
  • Build relationships with local regulators and social services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Take ownership of your unit and drive improvements to achieve quality care

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration
  • Experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
  • Up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks
