Job Title: Registered Theatre Nurse Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Theatre Nurse Team Leader to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for leading a team of scrub practitioners to ensure the smooth running of elective orthopaedic lists.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Organize and oversee the smooth running of theatre lists
  • Develop, train, and monitor the clinical skills of a team of scrub practitioners
  • Establish and maintain high standards of pre, peri, and postoperative care
  • Contribute to the delivery of a cost-effective service, adjusting staffing levels to meet demand

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in theatre scrub and team lead in orthopaedic theatre, with a strong background in teaching and assessment. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and delegate effectively in a fast-paced theatre environment.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse or registered ODP qualification
  • Teaching and Supervision qualification
  • L6 or above academic level
  • Management training
