Conveyancing Department Assistant

Job Summary:
DJF Solicitors is a leading law firm seeking a highly skilled Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our conveyancing department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing legal documents for property transactions.
- Managing office communications, including phone calls and emails.
- Supporting the conveyancers with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Utilising Google Suite for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Processing invoices and maintaining financial records using QuickBooks.
- Providing clerical support to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary for this position is £24,665.00, which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for financial management is advantageous.
- Excellent clerical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong administrative abilities to support daily operations effectively.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday in person.
