We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our clinical team in Brent, providing a comprehensive Physiotherapy service to residents. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with complex multi-pathologies, including falls, neurological conditions, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the Single Assessment Process, performing overview assessments and complex specialist assessments as appropriate.
- Gain valid, informed consent for assessment, treatment interventions, and sharing of information, in compliance with legal and professional guidelines.
- Work closely with other members of the multi-professional team, including Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Dieticians, Podiatrists, Pharmacists, Care Managers, and Psychologists.
- Supervise junior staff, rehabilitation assistants, and physiotherapy students, promoting best practice and professional development.
- Degree or diploma in physiotherapy.
- Registered with the Health Care Professions Council.
- Relevant post-qualifying experience in a range of areas, including acute care of the elderly, neurology, and community.
- Advanced skills in assessment and treatment of complex multi-pathologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of National and local frameworks and guidelines for older people.
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and demonstrate advanced clinical reasoning.
- Advanced communication and report writing skills, in both verbal and written format.
