Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Produce detailed drainage and highway calculations, sketches, and reports, ensuring designs comply with CIRIA, BRE Digest, BS EN 752, and adoptable standards.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor graduate engineers and engineering technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Site Management: Perform site visits to verify construction against drawings, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards.
- Commercial Awareness: Prepare specifications, costings, budgets, and quotations, providing commercial awareness and ensuring quality deliverables.
- Client Relationships: Maintain and expand client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in highways and drainage design, with a strong background in AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, or equivalent design software.
- Qualifications: Chartered with CIWEM, ICE, or CIHT, with a strong understanding of adoptable standards and report writing.
- Skills: Strong communication and consultation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
