Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced civil engineer to join our expanding team as a Principal Civil Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contribute to exciting projects, and develop your skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor graduate engineers and engineering technicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects
- Produce detailed drainage and highway calculations, sketches, and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Perform site visits to verify construction against drawings and ensure that designs are implemented correctly
- Prepare specifications, costings, budgets, and quotations to support project delivery
- Provide commercial awareness and ensure quality deliverables, supporting the company's growth and success
- Maintain and expand client relationships, building strong partnerships and delivering excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Experience in Highways and Drainage design, with a strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, or equivalent design software
- Chartered with CIWEM, ICE, or CIHT, with a strong commitment to professional development
- Strong communication and consultation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Experience with adoptable standards and report writing, with a focus on delivering high-quality documents
