Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring graduate engineers and engineering technicians, producing detailed drainage and highway calculations, sketches, and reports, and ensuring designs comply with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor graduate engineers and engineering technicians
  • Produce detailed drainage and highway calculations, sketches, and reports
  • Ensure designs comply with CIRIA, BRE Digest, BS EN 752, and adoptable standards (Sections 278, 38, and 104)
  • Perform site visits to verify construction against drawings
  • Prepare specifications, costings, budgets, and quotations
  • Provide commercial awareness and ensure quality deliverables
  • Support Directors in operational efficiency and service improvement
  • Maintain and expand client relationships

Requirements

  • Experience in Highways and Drainage design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, or equivalent design software
  • Chartered with CIWEM, ICE, or CIHT
  • Strong communication and consultation skills
  • Experience with adoptable standards and report writing
