Our client is a leading construction and civil engineering company in the UK, specialising in construction, civil engineering, facilities management, and property development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify risks and opportunities and incorporate them into a tender bid.
  • Price civil engineering activities such as earthworks, drainage, ducting, and paving from first principles, building up labour, plant, and material cost components.
  • Identify subcontract packages, choose suppliers from a database and from researching the market, liaise with the supply chain, prepare and issue enquiries, and analyse and interrogate responses.
  • Compile a comprehensive net cost estimate for the works, including preliminary items.
  • Present the net cost estimate at internal adjudication and implement changes.
  • Contribute to discussions on commercial approach.
  • Skilled in liaising with subcontractors.
