Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Mick George. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our concrete plants and sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control processes, including air and cube sampling rates, and review specifications to produce concrete mix designs.
  • Technical Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including The Health and Safety at Work Act, ISO 9001/2000, EN206, and BSI Kite Mark Accreditation Scheme.
  • Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve technical complaints from customers, working closely with the Ops Director and MD to ensure effective resolution.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to the Concrete Board on technical matters.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or materials science.
  • Experience: Proven experience in concrete operations management, with a strong understanding of quality assurance and technical compliance.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
